About Our Organization

Welcome to OVU FOUNDATION

A non-profit, non-governmental, voluntary organization committed to promoting development and empowerment. With a rich history and a passionate team, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

Established on 21st February, 2009, OVU Foundation has been a driving force in educational empowerment. We are formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under registration number CAC/IT/No 40726. Our mission is to build a Nigerian society where every citizen is truly empowered through the instrumentality of education.

Our Objective
  • Improve the quality of education of children.
  • Encourage the enrolment pupils in schools.
  • Promote and organize educational activities.
  • Support Government educational programmes.

Our Program

Provision of Educational Support Materials:

We provide essential tools such as exercise books, pens, rulers, and pencils to primary school pupils in the OVU community, ensuring they have the resources they need to excel academically.

Scholarships:

We offer scholarships to bright and deserving students who face financial barriers to education, enabling them to pursue their educational aspirations and unlock their full potential.

Quiz Competitions:

We organize engaging quiz competitions among primary school pupils, fostering a spirit of healthy competition, knowledge acquisition, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Dissemination of Information on Educational Opportunities:

We actively seek out and share information about scholarships, grants, study abroad programs, and other educational opportunities, empowering individuals to explore educational pathways beyond their immediate surroundings.

Educational Guidance and Counselling:

Our dedicated counselors provide guidance and support to students and their families, offering assistance in educational pathways, career choices, and personal development
